REGISTRATION & TUITION INFORMATION
SCHOOL YEAR 2010-2011
ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS
Saint Juliana Catholic School has an open admission policy. Our acceptance policy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion or national origin. Saint Juliana Catholic School entrance requirements for Pre-Kindergarten-3 through eighth grade are as follows:
Pre-Kindergarten – 3-year-old program. Child must be three (3) years old by September 1, 2010 and be completely toilet-trained.
Pre-Kindergarten – 4-year-old program: Child must be four (4) years old by September 1, 2010 and be completely toilet-trained. School will notify parents before April 1, 2010 in order to arrange parent interview and student screening.
Kindergarten: Child must be five (5) years old by September 1, 2010. School will notify parents on or before April 1, 2010 in order to arrange parent interview and student screening.
SCREENING RESULTS WILL BE REVIEWED BY THE PRINCIPAL AND NOTIFICATION OF DECISION WILL BE MAILED.
First Grade through Eighth Grade: An interview with the parents and enrolling student may be required by the principal to review student academic progress and classroom behavior. In order to complete your child’s application, we will need the following information from your child’s previous school:
- Most recent academic report card
- Most recent standardized test results
- Letter of recommendation from the current school principal
- Letter of recommendation from the current teacher
We also require the following documents to be included with all applications:
- Official birth certificate
- Baptismal and First Communion Certificate if applicable
- Copy of social security card
The completed application with the above mentioned paperwork must be submitted for review before applicant can be considered for admission.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
I. Registration Fees:
A registration fee of $350.00 per child is due at the time of registration. For families registering before February 22, 2010, this fee will be $185.00. THIS FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE. For new students a $50.00 application fee is required also.
II. Currently Enrolled Student Registration Information:
Current family registration will be held from January 5, 2010 through
February 8, 2010.
The following forms must be completed in their entirety and returned at the time of registration (for currently enrolled students):
1. Family Information Registration Form (white)
2. Family Acknowledgement (Parish Support) Form (blue)
3. Tuition Payment Preference Form (yellow)
All accounts must be current at the time of registration for 2010-2011.
New family applications will be accepted beginning February 8, 2010.
III. New Student Registration Information:
New family applications will begin on February 8, 2010.
The following documents are required at the time of registration:
1. Family Information Registration Form (white)
2. Tuition Payment Preference Form (yellow)
3. FACTS Tuition Agreement with a void check
4. Family Acknowledgement Form (blue)
5. Legal papers, i.e. custody arrangements, if applicable.
6. I-20 Immigration papers completed, if applicable.
The following documents are required before August 12, 2010:
1. Florida Certificate of Immunization, Form DH 680 (blue form)
This is the only document that schools are permitted to accept
as proof of immunization.
2. Medical examination by a Florida physician on form DH 3040
(yellow form). Exam must be taken after May 31, 2010.
TUITION, FEES AND POLICIES FOR 2010-2011 SCHOOL YEAR
I. Tuition:
Tuition rates appear on the Tuition Table. The supporting parishioner rate is given to families registered in St. Juliana Parish or other Catholic parishes in the Diocese of Palm Beach, whose pastors have signed the Family Acknowledgement Form, indicating that they are active and supporting parishioners. The form for St. Juliana parishioners indicates the criteria for our own parish. Members of other parishes should consult with their pastor.
Non-Catholic families and Catholic families that have not submitted a Family Acknowledgement Form will be charged the non-parishioner rate.
A limited amount of financial aid is available for qualifying families. We encourage you to contact the office for information.
II. Payment options:
All tuitions listed in the Tuition Table are based on a twelve (12) month period. Tuition payments begin in June 2010. As indicated in the Tuition Table, there are discounts for early payment, 5% for full payment by June 1, 2010, and 3% for payments over three months, from June to August 2010.
The Tuition Payment Preference Form should be returned with the registration paperwork.
III. Other Fees:
Student Insurance (NOT OPTIONAL) - $20.00 per student. This fee will appear on the student/class fees bill.
Home and School Association Family Dues – Family dues are payable by separate check to Home and School Association (H.S.A.) and due in August 2010. This will appear on the student/class fees bill.
UNIFORMS
All students are required to wear the appropriate uniform as described in the Saint Juliana School Handbook for Parents and Students. Uniforms must be purchased directly from the uniform company. Uniforms are not available for purchase from the school.

FAMILY VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
Saint Juliana Catholic School needs the support of all our parents and thus requires all families to donate fifteen (15) hours of volunteer time, assisting in fundraising events and other school activities. If a family is unable to complete hours of volunteer time or neglects to log their volunteer hours during the school year, the family will be charged $10.00 for each hour not completed/not logged.
Each family is also responsible for either purchasing or selling an amount equal to $100.00 for the annual auction raffle. A gift valued at $50.00 is also required. Failure to do so will add an additional charge to the families’ account.
EXTENDED SCHOOL DAY PROGRAM
Saint Juliana Catholic School is pleased to offer an Extended School Day Program for our parents. This program is only available for Saint Juliana School students.
The Extended School Day Program is held in the Saint Juliana School cafeteria from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and offers supervised homework time, outside play, games and activities. There are no additional charges on half days of school for students who attend the program on a monthly basis. A registration fee of $50.00 is due at the time of registration for the program. Payments are due on the first of each month.
